Great eyes you have & good catch on that. That rear bumper is a touch on the aggressive side. But anything is better then the G80 front bumper right?

What is the name of the dealer who has four RS6 available?
Simple search of Audi RS 6 in Pittsburgh where the poster appears to be from shows one dealership with three and another one with four.

German companies did not bring these cars here because they are not popular . They love them in Europe because they are more practical in regions with limited garage space. We don't have this problem here,

without the Covid era , RS6 would have never sold well
Believe this will be more similar to the MB AMG E Wagon. Audi customers aren't the same as MB and BMW. This Wagon will be the "practical" person in the family. Daily driver that can get the groceries and the kids to school and with the plug in charge can be sold to person in the family who wants to be environmentally friendly.

I'm in. 100%. If my dealer wants a deposit, they'll have it

Cars.com show only 16 New Audi RS6 available in the entire US. Generally that matches up pretty well with what is actually sitting on dealer lots. What I have been told is that dealers don't generally order lot cars and nearly all allocations are customer orders, which will show up in dealer inventory online. The M5 Touring is the only new BMW I am interested in, but it is very price dependent. If it is similar to the RS6 and MB E63S than sure, if they pull an XM and overprice it than it will be a no.

I recently had an A6 allroad, loved the visual. It was sadly less practical than I had hoped. Second row seating didn't cut it, and the v6 didn't have enough oomph. As much as I dislike SUVs, family needs made me cave. I went with a sq7 with a stg1 tune, makes maybe 730ish hp. Big number but the weight really gets you. I would love to be in a position where I could do a wagon again in the future. The m5 wagon is something I always hoped for, but the weight sounds a bit concerning, and where these insane car prices place it.

The best thing would've been an F90 M5 Touring, without the stupid and heavy batteries.

I like wagons and looked at the E63 AMG, but it weighed 10% more than the M5 and weight saps performance. Looking forward to reading about a road test of this wagon.

Well I like the front end, the G8x should also get these kidneys it would help that car no end.

I’m not an Audi guy but the RS6 looks sleek and aggressive as hell. This just looks a bit… funeral?
IMHO, the Audi looks like a matchbox car. Way over done.

I agree with this sentiment. As the owner of three (06, 14 & 21) E55/63 wagons - I’m not looking for what Audi is selling. The RS6 is way over the top in terms of styling. Subtlety is part of the charm of high performance wagons. Now that Benz is moving to a V6 - I’ll get the M5 estate to replace it.

I have a 21 E63s wagon and a 22 M5 comp. The performance of the two is very similar. If I could only have one - the Mercedes hands down. The whole package. Resale value on the E63 is tough to beat as well.

The 5/M5 always used to share the same body side stamping, which meant the regular 5 had an aggressive stance from behind. Now they can keep the regular 5 much more bland and leave the wide stance for the very few M cars built.

This is not progress IMO. The new M5 is going to look gaudy, like it’s designed to star in a Transformers movie or something.

Agreed, the M3 rear door/fender integration is laughably bad. Looks like a rejected design from Liberty Walk. Copy/paste onto new M5. Done!

I’m no Audi fan, but you gotta give credit where it’s due… the RS6 is one good looking car. I don’t know how anyone can look at this M5 Touring and then complain the RS6 is the one that’s “over done”.

This is false info. Its 100% coming to the US. Hence the video is posted on the BMWUSA Instagram page.. That kind of gives you all the info you need for confirmation.

I was happy to see wagons go away in the States some 30-odd years ago. Never thought I'd live long enough to see them come back.

Love the teaser.

On first thought- I hate the wheels. God I hope those aren’t what’s offered. And I pray my FI-R’s are able to be mounted

Can’t tell if there are any flares in the front fenders or rear fenders a-la- RS6 style, but time will tell.

Front bumper being shown is great. Love the rear. Super mean. Hood could’ve used more aggression- but the “camo” Xmas wrap could be hiding more detail.

I’m first on the list at my dealership for one. But full reviews and official release will decide if I do it or not.

I doubt these will be discounted as mentioned a few times above- bmw M touring clientele wants them- badly, and bmw knows this. I do imagine these will be starting at the 150k range and climb from there.

Very interested to see what my wish list of options comes out to in terms of final cost.

As usual- SUBSCRIBED

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you all
