Has the ASD module been moved or consolidated on MY2022?

So, Bimmercode didn't work in disabling ASD so I decided to try the manual approach... Only to find a blank space where the ASD module is known to be on earlier f90's.

Anyone know anything about this mystery?

Hmm. I wonder if something further changed for 2022. Bimmercode claimed it worked (twice!) but the effect is definitely not changed.

I did not realize you have to remove interior/trunk panels to turn the sound off. Are you able to replace those without signs they have been removed. In the past when I have removed such panels the connectors used are damaged and have to be replaced. The connectors on the M5 seem to be easier to remove without damage.

Got it. Thanks for clarifying. Couldn't tell if snark or sincere

To your question, I wouldn't worry at all about the partial removal of the panels. There are just three interior body plastic rivets (the reusable kind) that won't get damaged if you use the right tools. Grab one of those cheap plastic pry tool kits for automotive use and you'll be fine. And if you damage a clip, they are pennies to replace. Plus it would only be a cosmetic issue.

I was able to successfully code out ASD using ProTool, which I bought last night. Bimmercode just didn't swing it.

What is the ProTool? I opened the panel and the asd module is missing as well. I also hate the fake sound it makes. Can you tell more about the ProTool? Thanks!

Protool is basically code scanner and coding in one, uses a kdcan cable with an otg adaptor for your Android device. Also the ASD is part of the RAM module aka cant just unplug it.
