Would go into like 1/2 limp mode, no check engine lights, but would drop the redline like that.

the replaced one, then the other months later. no issues since replacements.

Thanks for the feedback, you were on the money.

Dealer replaced my Vanos actuator last week and it hasnt happened since. Car also feels much more responsive.
