It was an awesome car, but there are others as well at that level.

For example my GTR had similar performance but was a lot more raw and fun to drive than the TTS. And that car is even better on track.

And yes, I have automotive attention deficit disorder issues.
Yeah,
Like it more than TTS

Nice dream come true I guess

Nice what color did you spec? Got my signal yellow GT2 RS at the end of the year and love it so far.

Yep, McLaren F1 and also for me, I will also add Ferrari F40 to the list. It's the first super car I have been in (in 1989 my next door neighbor bought one and I was 12 at the time) and I will never forget the experience when he gave me a ride.

I am content with what I drive and have.
I do not believe on collection of cars.

I keep 2 cars: one for fun/weekend/speed and second for daily driving/beat-up.

But dream car will be anything Ferrari produce, in limited edition. As of now, Ferrari LaFerrari

Even if I own a Ferrari: my beat-up car will be Honda, Toyota, lol. Gotta own second one to beat.
Will not own more than 2 cars at a time for myself.

More Porsche love here but I'm with the posters who said Chiron and Singer. But the F90 can hold its head high IMO.

I spent a few hours at Singer when I was in LA in November.

A friend of mine has one and I had been considering one so they were nice enough to give me a tour and to let me test drive a 4.0L for about half an hour in the canyons on little tujunga canyon rd.

Just about the nicest group of automotive enthusiasts one can hook up with, and the cars they build are extraordinary. However I decided to pass on one, at least for now. The singer Classic which is the one they have been building from the start is a wonderful car, and marries elements of classic Porsche rawness with modern day performance, reliability, and insane level of detail and craftsmanship. Many people consider that the best of all worlds and thus why they are so highly regarded and why the waiting list is still long despite the price.

My takeaway however was from the other side of the coin. As wonderful the car as it was to drive I found it to not be exceptional on any particular level. It did everything amazing but it did nothing better than anything else. The necessary compromise to make the car 21st century compatible took away too much of its rawness for my liking, and in the end its greatest attribute was its indisputable beauty, not the driving experience it provided. And that wasn't enough for me to warrant plopping down $650k for.

It did inspire me however to start a 73 RSR backdate project which will be finished later this year. It will be nowhere near the level of finish of a Singer but it will be 'demons tickling your perineum' levels of pure rawness and speed.

That said, Singer do have a yet to be announced model (not the DLS) that I know about that they will release in the next couple of years which promises to be a lot more aggressive and less civilized than the current Singer classic. For that one I might be a buyer.

Anyhoot, it was a great experience to spend a day with the Singer guys, and their cars are functional art.

That was on my Radar Screen before I ordered the TTS. Would LOVE Factory 700 hp. Biggest negative for me (which is actually a huge positive for the car), is it's design purpose. It has less insulation to save weight, deletes AWD, fixed seat backs, stiffer suspension, more RAW feel, etc, etc. to save weight and be a KILLER track car. Arguably the best OEM track car out right now....including the 720S. Touched base with a guy that owns a GT2RS and a TTS. Since I'll be taking mine on vacation, etc....just wasn't the package for me.

But everyone I step in one of them! Huge let down by the throw back interior design and the 10 year old tech!

I am fortunate enough to have most of my dream cars but the McLaren F1 has been my unicorn. Almost bought one before the prices on them went astronomical.
