Dash cam wiring to rear fuse panel? ACC vs Continous possible?

Does anyone know if there are two fuses that can be used for dash cam wiring from the trunk fuse panel? I've got all the information I can dream of from the passenger footwell fuse panel. However, I am looking to put my backup battery in the trunk and want to use the fuse panel in the rear. I'd put the battery under the passenger seat (and use the front fuse panel) but it looks like there's no clearance under the bucket seats.

Anyone know if there are two fuses in the back — one with ACC and one continuous? I've done a decent amount of searching and am struggling. If the answer is to get a voltmeter and figure it out yourself — so be it — but would appreciate if anyone has info otherwise. Thx

Sadly the only way to be 100% certain is to use a voltmeter, alternatively 2 pieces of wire and spark them together lol (don't recommend)

Found this, not sure if the fuse numbers are the same on an f90 but worth a try?

D'oh, sorry, same technique. have to wait until the car times out and check with volt meter. It take a few minutes for the circuits to go dead if they are switched.

I think I poked around with the rear fuse box at one point, but cannot recall for sure.

What is the advantage of using the rear fuse box if you are going to run power to the front window anyway???

He wants a battery in the trunk since it doesn't fit under the seat I believe. Also I thought anything on acc power would die once car is off and door is opened no?

There are several fuses which stay hot. That was the key. I have been using it for a dash cam for 4 years. Works.

The other supply times out in about 5 minutes, so my dash cam is no and recording for 5 minutes after I leave the car even if I don't place it in Park Mode. Park mode goes to the always on supply. that way quick stops are covered automatically.

Thanks. I've put a dash cam in every vehicle I own except my M550i. Got lazy and had the cellink neo and Thinkware U1000 sitting in my office for like 8 months. Getting installed alongside my ppf/ceramic/tint/reflectors. I had just assumed we'd be putting the battery up front and using that panel but that was ruled out. Looks like the installer figured it out but I'm not sure if he just ended up wiring all the way up to the front liked mentioned. I'll find out details tomorrow or Wed when I finally get my car back. Thanks for the responses. If we used the rear fuse box I'll share my new found knowledge.

Just to close the loop on this for anyone that is looking. I later realized that with a backup battery you don't have any need or reason to use a Continuous power since you can charge the battery on ACC. My Cellink Neo was wired to charge at 9A, so it doesn't take long to get it full charged at all. Then the dashcam is basically just working off the battery and it regulates when it pulls from the battery / when parking mode is on. We tapped the fuse (add-a-fuse) for the cigarette lighter plug that's in the trunk. It's a 20A fuse but now have a tapped/ad-a-fuse with a 10A (for battery) and the existing 20A.

So far it works great -- I think the only annoying thing I have noticed is that the ACC stays hot for about 30 minutes after the car is turned off/locked. I thought the installer said it was 8 minutes but I can see my car doesn't kick into parking mode for about 30 minutes -- so it's in continuous record for that time until it switches over. I guess that could be some weird thing with the Cellink that I'm not up to speed on.

My cellink battery is in the trunk, under the cover, down by the trunk battery. It's wired away from the battery so nothing touches or should every touch. It looks good since everything is 100% hidden. They took out my rear seats to do this since they don't fold down. I'm glad they didnt show me the pics till later as I'd have a heart attack if I saw it before getting my car back.
