So a month ago I picked up a 2021 M5 Comp. It just had its 1200 mile service completed this morning and I re-installed my RC, BMC air filters, and did some runs. The first set of Dragy numbers are when the car was bone stock using LC, and the second set of numbers are using LC after I installed the RC and air filters using the RC on map 7. Enjoy

All the GTX-Blacks come with the ability to reprogram your device once per year if you change cars, since the hardware changes if you change brands (and sometimes models), you would need a whole new device in that case.

It's not vin locked. Doesn't know your vin as it doesn't connect to ECU.

It is not VIN locked.
The GTS Black comes with 1 free reprogramming within 24 months from date of purchase if you change to another car that RaceChip supported.

After that 24 months, the unit still reprogrammable for a fee.

I can. But, it is best to buy it from UK reseller or RaceChip Germany directly.
Saves you on shipping cost and duty/tax.

Installation wise, depending on your skill level.

I posted this 18 months or so back. The JB4 is faster: there's no arguing that. However, now I'm using a Racechip and I haven't seen a (dragstrip) Christmas tree in months, the Racechip does just nicely. Paired with an Eventuri intake, perfect setup.
