DYNO DAY | at MD Automotive

Few of us with N52 engines wanted to get a baseline before
get'n the LET Flash.

We dyno'd at
MD Automotive
http://www.markdibella.com/

Mark who was handling the Dyno was great.
he's an easy going guy.
Once we Flash we're heading back, so any who may want
to dyno hit up this thread.

video and picts soon to come.
dyno numbers posted.

I see it's on a Dynojet, which is around 20%. So 216 x .20 = 43.2 HP. Add that to the initial 216, you get 216 + 43.2 = 259.2BHP.

Pretty nice gain on an N/A car.

LOL I didn't even read the title of the chart. I just jumped the gun and thought that was the aftermath reading.

I don't know man. But hopefully when I do mine, we can compare the 2. Although, I do now have intake and exhaust. Back then...all stock.

that is impressive. i've heard that bmw motors official break in is at about 45k miles. since you are way pass that, maybe you are getting more HP because of it?

okay i made the charts like the one u posted Long.
hp / torque on one graph.
air/fuel on separate graph.
I don't how the numbers got screwy like that. that's my bad.
sorry//
i got the files from MD and was told Dynojet has a software to download
to customize the printout. there is a bit of a learning curve
and finally figured it out. So new graph's posted.

Vicky confirm the pict i posted matches the print out we got from
MD.

BTW, Long your readings is SAE from few years back // one's i posted are STD.
i'm using STD (standard) for baseline and after LET Flash, to stay consistent.

hahha...I have my appt this saturday 5/30 @ 11am. My old dyno numbers were from 6/17/06 @ 11:22am. Almost exact time of the year....but 3 years later! Will be fun to see what my NEW BASELINE is, after intake, exhaust, and now @ 65k miles.

Original Stock Dyno.

Current Dyno
