Just gotta hope no more surprises this time! should be at baltimore in 4-5 days then charleston 3-4 days after that then ram and front radar stop sale and who knows how long for accessories, then I can't even drive it until I get full PPF and radar

My car spent 12 weeks at Baltimore VPC for RAM and accessories.

Hopefully your car moves a little quicker at Charleston. The B&W RAM seems to be in pretty short supply.

Youre right I don't keep cars for long, I want to but that itch always wins. And I did get a "basic" one, I got one starting production for 117K minus 1.5k military discount should be 115.5K, I'll try to talk them into not charging me document fees as most other BMW dealers don't have that or get some rubber mats/cargo mat thrown in as comp. I don't pay taxes either, thanks to military benefit so should be 115.5K even, out the door. I got the drivers package, driver assistance and Comp Pack, no executive package. I've had similar to executive package in the E63 and it was mostly a big gimmick, the seat massagers are a joke and block the seat ventilation which is also a joke in every car I've had seat ventilation in. Self parking, never have ever needed that and I would not trust a system parking a 100k car in a tight spot. The only thing I got the Drivers package for is to get collision avoidance, that can be usefull on rare occasions.

I am genuinely curious, you can't build out an M5 to above 130 on the site, what port options are there to get its to that price, titanium exhaust is around 10k, I assume B&W is like 5kish, what else. I just sold my E63S and for E63s sedans, fully loaded was around 140k with CCB, premium audio and some fancy paint. Like how do you get to 160??

Yeah I figured haha. Like I said nothing against your decision, was just trying to offer an alternative that may have saved you a bit more money.

On the bmw site bowers and Wilkins was 3400 I believe, also have the exec package and 3600 in paint and 3500 for interior color. 1k for piano black trim and then exhaust is 7400, carbon fiber everything (splitter, side blades, side grilles, kidney grille, mirrors, diffuser, side skirts, engine cover, spoiler, gear shifter, paddles, led door projectors, drive analyzer, m performance floor mats and some other stuff which totals 27k on its own) a few posts ago I posted a pic of how much the car was (134 with destination and gas guzzler, then add all the other stuff on lol)

May not be directly relevant, but I picked up a 12k mile 2021 M5C for $113 (MSRP on the car was just shy of $130k).

What I've seen with the dealerships in my area are they're still charging a $5-$10k premium over MSRP for Comps (Orange County).

This is in regards to the export of cars to Russia as far as I can understand from the article. Also it mentions that the production in Russia will be discontinued but I highly doubt they are producing M5s in Russia?

I realized your like after seeing the one I commented on, I read more about it on bmw blog as well I wonder how long they will halt if while they switch suppliers..

On a separate note Macan and Panamera production have stopped as well apparently, people who ordered Panameras and were on the ship that burned down got the short end of the stick back to back I feel so bad for them.

I think the best way to find a good deal on one of these cars- heck any car for that matter is to call smaller dealerships in poor markets. I picked up a 2022 last week for $7,500 off msrp and they gave me 2k less than I paid a few weeks prior on my 2019 which had 5k miles on it.

I guess they just needed to sell a car. It only had 17 miles on it so it wasn't driven. Funny thing is, the car was built on the same day as my CS and it say at the port with mine until after Christmas also waiting for that ram module. The guy who ordered it backed out. I'm very thankful for that. He loaded the car up with 19k in m performance parts. So I have a cs clone for my wife to drive.

Bottom line is it doesn't hurt to ask
