How long did you wait to receive your M5 from start to finish?

I find a trick to end the "spasms" is to click on one of the tabs at bottom of page (must catch during a reload) and once that new page opens, the original page then goes to your garage. Pretty pathetic and very "un-Germanic"!

Website is weird - works perfectly fine for me only on my iPhone with the Chrome browser. It's a hit or miss with Safari where it asks me to login multiple times. Doesn't work at all on my laptop.

On the other hand, my car is in transit! Departed yesterday via W&W and is on a Vessel named The Patriot. Can't wait!

How you know the name??!!

Call the BMW Genius phone number and they should be able to provide you with all the details. Date of departure, shipping merchant, vessel name, etc.

I would guess between 2-3 weeks... depending upon the amount of stops it makes on the way. Mine left the port, stopped twice in England and has 9 day trip to Baltimore before making it's way to California. Here's a timeline of mine so far:

Ordered 5/26
Production began 6/5
Production completed 6/14
Departed factory 6/18
Arrived at Port 6/20
Assigned vessel 6/20
Vessel departed 6/21

Vessel ETA to NYC/NJ port 7/7

Based on this guide, customs, vpc should add about another week. Im in NJ so once that's completed, I would expect the car to be at the dealer within 1 day. It's 45 min away from the port so overall I'm looking at mid July as of now. Fingers crossed to avoid any delay or damage to the car during transport.

Call the Genius number. You should have been assigned a vessel by now based on my timings. They should be able to give you more accurate info compared to the website.

It's been since 2011 that I custom ordered a BMW- my M4 I bought off the showroom floor. If y'all are waiting 2-4 months for delivery, how much of a deposit are you putting down when ordering these days?

I didn't have to put any money down at BMW of Portland... even with an Individual color.

Loaded on Boat: June 20 (Don Juan is the vessel)
Scheduled to arrive @ Baltimore: July 5

Ultimately being delivered to Southwest Michigan so anticipate receiving my MBB beast perhaps week of July 16th.
