Black wheels signify one thing:
this person has no personal style or preferences for themselves.

regardless of how sugly it is, if it's new, those people jump on that ship.

My personal style and preference is all black. So much so that my cars have been that way for ten years. I certainly haven’t jumped on any ship. My cars are that way, the way I dress is that way, the aesthetic of my homes are that way. I’m not driving them because the manufacturers have started “putting them on.” I ordered or made all my cars looks that way. I have three blacked out cars at this very moment. I don’t do it because it’s trendy or signals that I have a new car. I really do not need a single person in this world to validate me through my material possessions. If they do, however, I’m sure they’d walk away with conclusion that I’m doing alright.

I am hoping to get my satin black P101 HRE wheels by Friday so I can have them installed Saturday with the BMW M performance lowering kit.

I’ll post pictures on the other thread. I love black wheels. All variants.

Those are OE wheels for the CS and tie in with the rest of the aesthetics. Not some
aftermarkets. They also look fantastic on the (frozen green) CS, even though I am generally not a fan. Totally different ball game.

Exactly. Same thing with car color and interior colors. We all have different tastes. Thank God. If not, the world would be boring.

As you probably surmised, I was just playing devils advocate with the young, opinionated lad.

I’m sure just like me you see many peoples cars that you admire and feel look awesome but it wouldn’t be for you. Same thing with houses or furniture and even clothing and shoes.

One things for sure I’m very conservative when it comes to what I drive and what I wear looks like. I like earth colors for sure. Black, white, and gray.

Sure it will. For those that absolutely love green. I would never get that color for myself however, I totally understand why others would and I also know for a fact there’s a huge following of it. Hell the lead mechanic at my dealership just purchased the green M3. everyone’s different. There’s a dude on this forum that has a purple M3. Purple! Did I mention it’s purple? That might not age well but it still gets lots of compliments from people here
