Lightbulb UK - Advice Negotiating with a BMW Dealer on a 2018 M5... Upgrading Wheels and Lights

Hi Guys,
I am hunting for a 2018 M5 because I have concerns around the stiffer ride in the competion, plus there is no OPF on the 2018 cars meaning modding is easier.

I dont like the wheels on the 2018 and would like the LCI light upgrade

The car I am considering buying at present is a fully loaded (all options and ceramics) Azurite Black 25k Miles asking £56k.

What do you think is a fair offer for this car if they make the following changes:

Option 1:
Upgrading to Comp Wheels

Option 2:
Upgrading to Comp Wheels
LCI light upgrade

Option 3:
863M wheels with centers and spokes in Azurite Black and the lip in a diamond cut finish (pic courtesy of member MSX)

Spacers

LCI light upgrade

I also want the car lowered but am not sure if BMW will do this for me. I want to eliminate the wheel gap in the front and back and keep things as comfy as possible.

Thanks for the advice

Hi, Just a heads up that not all 2018 cars don't have OPF. It was introduced in august of 2018 so there will be some 2018 cars that have OPF.

Lowering: BMW do an adjustable spring kit for about £1.5k + fitting so getting BMW to lower the car is possible although I would recommend the MSS adjustable springs supplied and fitted via Evolve. Same drop, as comfortable if not more comfortable and cheaper than the genuine BWM option.

Wheels: 863m can be had for about £3.5k new from the dealer.

Light Upgrade: £1k option fitted at the dealer
