I'm pleasantly surprised it's under R900k. I believe it's available from April, but let's see what premium some of the dealers put on these. Price will then be in the R900k + bracket. Definitely keen to check out the M2 once it's at a dealer though

I'm tired of talking to dealers that make shit up. The dealer I've been working through for years tells me that there will only be 70 coming to south Africa over 3 years ... I call straight up lie.

I've heard from a few sources that +-200 for this year. Sounds about right given everything else speculated on these forums. Hopefully more ramped up production in future.

Anyone here getting one? I plan on trying to get one ideally Jan next year. Price was a bit more than anticipated

I would like to get one as soon as possible. The problem is not the price, a little higher than anticipated (my motorbike will have to go on sale) but now it's just getting a damp car from one of these dealerships!

My wife has an M4 cab (which she loves completely) and we were discussing trading in her M4 for the M2, but only if the M2 really blew her hair back and felt different and special! So until we can get a test drive, will have to wait and see I guess!

My dealer said no info yet. He's anticipating first allocation by March/April. Probably pre specc'd.
What options would you guys get?
Given the high price I plan on just LBB DCT and HK

Two of my dealer's told me they arn't getting an M2 this year and one told there is only 50 coming overall. I call bull###t on all of them. nobody knows anything really and it's becoming annoying. That or the wait is just getting to me!

Anyway, I'm debating LBB or BSM, and Manual or DCT. The LBB looks so good but I do love a clean BSM BMW. If I get the manual, I will just add HK and the sunroof but I will sacrifice the sunroof for the DCT.

Decisions, decisions ...
