I live in a part of the country with shit roads so i'm seriously considering 19 vs 20 for my aftermarket wheels.

Suggestion: find some aftermarket wheels that use a large inner barrel diameter for the "rim" size. It will give an illusion of being larger than they are while gaining you the sidewall you're seeking.

That all said, the factory setup has taller sidewalls than many other 19" OEM wheel setups on lesser models. I don't think you should be as worried as you are, especially if you go with the factory forged wheels. Also remember, the OEM tires are not RFT so there's more give.
