I have a very similar build.... can you tell me why you got certain options and why you skipped others?
- 4 Zone climate - useful only if you have kids riding in the 2nd row?
- Adaptive LED, why not laser lights?
- Display key - really useful for everday? It seems very big.
- Crafted clarity crystal knob....not sure about that. May be too much bling bling

You already sold me on the leather dash
Here the cars come optioned a certain way and adding options are prohibitively expensive. Basically options have the euro price and an additional 120pc tax on top. The only options I added are the leather dash (at a cost of 5k usd!) And the rear usb.

The m sport cars are optioned as high spec and everything else u see is standard. X line cars are normally less optioned but the launch x lines also optioned quite highly for g05 it seems.

Some options like 4 zone, display key, crafted clarity are free options for the first batch of cars because these cars are sold without a dealer demo and before even a catalog is printed. This is called an early bird package and offered to loyal customers and sold before the official launch of the car. Atleast that's what they say. I am pretty sure some of these will be available during launch as well. The first batch is treated as rolling advertisement so they're optioned a bit better I suppose.

The wheel upgrade to 21 is a free upgrade for 2018 production cars to make up for the perceived loss of value of getting a 2018 production vs a 2019 production. Ie 2019 production cars (including all 7 seaters) won't get the 21in wheels unless they pay another 5k and custom order.

If all this seems too good to be true consider we pay about a 100pc tax on the cars so i am paying more than an x5M or a loaded cayenne s

If I were paying USA prices I would get ivory merino extended. This combo would have added 12k usd for me here including the required multi contour seats so gave it a pass. I would not get 22 wheels. I have 21 m perf wheels now on f15 and they are too hard and 21 on g05 is equivalent to 20 on f15 due to the changes tire size.

Another reason to not get options here is the options depreciate to zero immediately and the 2nd hand value is solely on the year of manufacture and line (x line or m sport) since almost no one custom orders cars.

ok understood!
Let me know how well the driving assistant pro works when you get it.. I tried the driving assistant plus on an G01 X3 and liked it. It is a 2600 EUR option however....
