Which downpipes? Please help

Hi all,

Kind of stuck on which downpipes to get for my 2022 M5C. Before any recommendations please note I am not interested in Keller, 3k for dps is too much for me. I am looking to pay 2.3k max for dps. I was considering the ER primary & secondaries but I am getting mixed reviews from owners with some saying it is a perfect fit/sounds good/etc, and some saying it doesn’t fit/cheap quality from Taiwan company/etc. If not ER what is a good brand to go with? If you recommend ER is it a durable downpipe?

Hoping to get downpipes on before aug 20, so any help would be very appreciated

I haven't heard anything bad about either of those brands but with that said many of us, myself included, have MAD downpipes. I just have secondaries but they looked good and seem fine. I don't know that I could compare them to another but they are inexpensive and seem to be great.

MAD, but I think their primaries are currently out of stock so you'd have to check with them if they can deliver by the 20th.

Why would you pay $2300 when you can pay $600 for catless downpipes. If you need high flow cat primaries and will get a tune for the CEL, buy the CTS high flow cat primary catless secondary set for $1000. If you need high flow cats and no CEL and no tune, then you must spend $3500-$4500 for Keller or Red Star or AA or Fabspeed.

So MAD downpipes are really the way to go then? Of course I’d pay the cheapest possible but I want atleast decent quality going on my car, that’s why I figured to go with DME, SSR, or ER dps

I have ER catless secondaries and love them. My installer had no issues at all with the fitment/install. However, I hear great things about MAD as well, so you really can't go wrong with either of those two.
