Where does this sensor go?

My bumper is not lined up correctly so I started to checked it out and found this sensor dangling behind the front camera. Anyone know where it is supposed to go or what it is for?

Goes right behind the camera between the kidney grills. Not sure what it is for though.

I think that's the thermometer for the outside temperature.

theres a slot it fits into right behind the camera
