iDrive w/Nav or No iDrive | Standard Audio or Hi-Fi Audio or Logic 7

What would you choose?

1. I would pay the extra to get nav with the car.
2. I would give up some other feature in the car just to get the nav.
3. I don't care about bmw nav.
--------------------

What audio option would you choose?
1. Hi-Fi Audio is a must.
2. Logic 7 Audio is a must and will pay extra for it.
3. Standard is fine, don't care about music, mostly listen to AM radio anyway.

There's really no good reason not to get idrive with navigation in this day and age.

Never had a car with navigation in it until my current BMW. Now that I have had it, I don't think I'll ever go back. It is more than just a navigation system, it is a great interface with the other systems within the car, including radio, bluetooth, multimedia and the like.

Personally I don't like nav or pdc. I prefer a simple interior with just sports seats/steering wheel, a decent stereo and no other gadgets.

i like having everything that comes with idrive but havent ever used the nav in 3 months of owning the car. I have the base sound system which acctually for me it sounds really good, mind you i have a 2011 e93, i have heard that the new f30s if thats what youre getting dont have a great base sound system. All things you should go sit at the dealer and play with and see if you like havin or not. good luck!

Well for me, I already have a Tom Tom, & no car to me has a decent stereo, cuz I'm a producer (music) I always had to update the stereo..

I have pre LCI and im ok with the Stereo. SAT is not great. Ipod and disc sound very good. Post LCI I have read is not so good making Logic7 a must.

I don't care to pay for the NAV and the functions of Idrive are all there if you don't have it. Just have to read the owners manual for 15 min to find it.

My wifes Audi has the screena nd full color readout between the Speedo and Tach. Its a nice touch but nothing you can't live without.

It comes in handy when driving through LA.

iDrive is a must. I rarely use the navigation, but the interface is really worth it.

also i would def opt for the logic7. it's amazing

I'm one of the few people I know who prefers cars without nav. I have a Garmin if I need directions, but I rarely use it. That said, I recently got a loaner with iDrive and I did like the interface. I'll consider it for my next BMW but it won't be a deal breaker either way. I love my Logic7 though.

My first bmw did not have nav.. My current bmw does.. My next bmw will... Its a must once you have it. I honestly have used it 3 or 4 times since I bought my car just over a year ago and I think it completes the car with the way it looks over a car without nav

get the nav...well worth it if you can afford it. all the extra added features on the new ones makes it even better. bluetooth streaming, office, bmw apps(kinda crappy, but it's a novelty), BMW connected etc.
