'18M5 took delivery in May / second one from dealership. 17k on clock now. Can't say enough about the car and even its prowess in the snow w/ winter tires. Being that is was very early and first of it's gen, issues are expected, so here's the list. These are most common, especially w/ the early gens like mine, w/ #3, still an issues w/ all. I intend to get a '21 or '22 (if avail), MC5 next year, upon turn in.
1. After waiting about 6mo from order, stuck at port for a fuel tank recall. It needed a $5 fix of a zipcord around a wire! 2. Multiple passenger side restraint failures. 3. Squealing brakes

2019 Comp, 12.5k miles. This good to know as this is just an awesome piece of kit that I think I will keep forever!
Until I'm forced into most likely some electric thing. They at least may be decent by then. And charging network much improved. Or maybe hydrogen in 10yrs time? My mileage has reduced to nothing due to covid, do every start is still an event |
