We will get a Touring version when it's all electric and 130k. Thanks BMW for crushing my dreams.

It won’t be all electric. It will get the same hybrid setup as the XM.

No.
My thought was it would start around $125k and come in closer to, or just over, $140k fully optioned including carbon ceramics. Of course I’m sure there will also be another $10k worth of M performance carbon fiber parts that could be added on too.

I don't know, my '22 was almost $136k fully optioned. I'm thinking closer to $160k but I'm just guessing at this point. I hope it's within reach!

Plugin Hybrids can be a lot of fun.
The question is: Can they tune the XM powertrain and driving dynamics to be fun like the Ferrari SF90? Notice I said "fun" not "fast."

6,050 lbs, compared to the 2020 X7 M50i which was 5650 lbs.
400lbs added for the batteries and electric motors? Then that would mean: 2020 M5: 4,370 lbs 2025 M5: 4,770 lbs 2025 M5 Wagon: 5,000 lbs

As a very long term owner of an i8 I am looking forward to this setup in a car, the XM is not intriguing to me. IF the pricing will be as high as the XM (Labels), I will need to reconsider though, there are just too many FUN options in that price range (not necessarily Tourings)….
I also agree with previous poster, M3 Touring would have been my choice, no doubt about it. Spent the money on a different brand instead this year…. |
