E92 Bumper Swap
So, I'm a newbie at modding, and I am asking if someone could help me out here. I am about to purchase a euro-spec MTEC front bumper, pending the seller, and I need to know what is involved in swapping the bumper with my OEM? The bumper is going to be sold with nothing but the bumper itself. I know that I need to port stuff over but how difficult is it to port? And what about compatibility? Grilles and fogs are compatible I assume? What about the bottom row of grilles? The middle bottom grille is a bit larger than stock bumper, do I need to buy new bottom grilles?
Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated. I've looked at the DIY bumper removal but that only explains how to remove an already mounted bumper. Thanks EDIT: Also, what about ducts? |

Hi, I can share with you what I know as I am in the same boat.
1) 335i M-Tech front bumper is different than 328 M-Tech front bumper, the difference, air ducts. 2) Grills are not the same, must buy M-Tech grills. 3) Fogs are not the same, must buy new M-Tech fogs, left & right. 4) *Unclear* Brackets that holds the bumper, are not the same. www.getbmwparts.com for your parts.

In honesty, your best bet would be emailing Tischer or calling them, telling them what you bought, and asking them what you need. Then buy it from them.
