I enjoyed the Ferrari but after a while the volume of attention you get in it started to grate on me. FWIW, I have a Pista coming in June. The 488 was more or less a daily driver. The Pista will be less so. Wanted something fun that was a sleeper. The Comp fits the bill.

I wasn't aware of other wheel options. I just loved the white/black/black spec at my local dealer and pulled the trigger.
oh my the pista is real nice and congrats on that! look forward to seeing your pista pictures!
Was told last week it's "Status 70" 4-6 weeks. 😍😍

I've been cross shopping a 2016/17 Turbo and the M5 Comp. Curious on your thoughts of the two. The reason for the Porsche is I'm newly married, no kids- just a 17 in French bulldog and a wife. So why not indulge in another 2 door while I can, right? Then again, the price, the price, the price. And not to mention running errands, practicality, and versatility of the M5. But I'm anxious to hear feedback from someone who made the switch!

Ditto on the good daily. Just love the "everyday supercar" tag better.

Before my F12 I had a 991 TTS 2014 so gen 1 but comparable. All around maybe the best car I've ever owned. Super usable daily and a track monster too. If you plan on tracking it I'd give the nod to the 991.2 over the m5 and run errands bigger than a grocery run in an Uber.

I don't plan on tracking. The Porsche intrigued me solely for the stable price retention versus an M car. Also something to note- this will be my only car besides the wife's car for now until we buy a new home. When I can have a garage queen/weekend toy I'll revisit the topic with a new outlook. But for now I'm looking for a great daily that can wear a few different hats when needed
