Finally Warm enough to wash car outside. Darn Frozen North.

So much better washing car by hand. Those touchless car washes are useless. LOL.

Check out Dog Hood Ornament.

I think the dog hood ornament needs to be afixed with a better "lab" grade adhesive. The ornament is not present in the second photograph; appears to have fallen off or something?

This may offer some suggestions when it's too cold to use your own spigot.

LOL. We have several of those places here. And 1/2 the time that knob is broken. LOL

No substitute for a hand and a sponge. In my prior house I had 1.heated garage 2. floor drains and 3. hot and cold spigots. Used to wash cars in winter indoors. LOL. Current house, no drain, no heat so I did not bother running pipes for hot/cold water in garage. The touchless systems are fine for a quick wash.

We have a car wash here that used to have a fancy conveyor belt instead of the clunky wheel wrecker setup and it did a great job but was not touchless. Now they have replaced the conveyor belt with the clunky wheel wrecker setup and you are 100% dependent on the guy lining you up. And then they want to wash down your care with a broom and a bucked of never rinsed water. No thanks.

Mike
