Have been lurking for the right axel back exhaust for a while, and I have finally pulled the trigger on Dinan and it's on the way and will report when it comes, I have been contemplating the following: (BTW I have X pipe):

1. Remus (was torn apart between this and Dinan)
2. Capristo (Expensive)
3. Dinan (Just came out and on back order)
4. Eisenmann Race or Performance (Too loud?)
5. RPI

Just curious to know if anyone has heard Dinan in person just yet or even has it installed on F90? And any real life comparison?

I wish exhaust companies understood the importance of proper audio gear when recording sounds. I can't tell a difference from stock with any of the different cars dinan mufflers.

On choosing my daily driver and mods Vic55 makes my life easy. Buying an exhaust based on online video is a gamble. I have no doubt I'll be perfectly content with the Remus. Good luck with the Dinan.

The pure evil thing to do would be to tell sooma that the Dinan sounded terrible - even if you never heard it - just to see him spend another month not sleeping and only researching exhausts for F90... Then, we can set up our betting pool... "How many day until he cracks" or "Will the next gen M5 be on the road before he decides?" That kind of stuff...
