Ok, I'll admit t o washing and detailing my M5 and then not driving it if there's a chance of rain. Kind of stupid but I love its look all clean and shiny.

I would drive it in all weather if I had “cold” tires on it, but I just have the summers. I’m really leaning toward a high performance all season tire, if one ever comes available for the M5. But warm weather is only a few weeks away here; the summers will get their workout soon enough!

All weather. When possible, after a wash, I will leave her in the garage in order to save time on the wash. Also hate the thought of corrosion from the chemicals they put on the roads.
I have dedicated 19s with snows for winter and the 20s for late spring summer and fall. |

Don't have my F90 M5 yet, but my current F10 M5 hasn't seen winter snow since I got caught out in a fast arriving blizzard in December of 2012. The two wheel drive and the summer tires almost didn't get me home! I'm buying the F90 with the intention of using the stock 19" rims for proper snow tires and buying aftermarket 20" wheels for the sticky summer rubber. I think the BMW is so well put together it will handle the winter abuse nicely with a good underbody cleaning before the summer fun starts.
