3D surround view
Stupid question. I've been trying to get the 3D view to work on the connected app. I can't figure out the privacy settings. I don't see any options in Idrive to change it. Am I missing something?

Its been on and off all day. I have been trying for the past three hours. No luck. It was up last night about 10 pm.

Yeah I don't have that option. I'll have to ask if there is a update when I bring the vehicle in for my 1200 break-in. Definitely not something I need but it does look cool to play around with. Thank you again for taking your time! I appreciate it!

Found the solution.
here https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh....php?t=1260184 "Yes, I had (I think) the same problem. Here is how two “geniuses” fixed it after about 15 minutes of fiddling around: (1) In the vehicle, while running, go to and select Connected Drive main menu from home screen (2) Go to the icon (under apps) for the “BMW Connected” App; don’t select, rather hit Option button next to your iDrive control wheel (3) Go to and select the “Update BMW Assist” item. It will indicate “Transferring Data” for several minutes and tell when successful, select “OK” then. (4) Go to the “My vehicle/iDrive settings/Data privacy menu” and the previously missing selection option for “Remote 3D View” should now be present. Enable it and you should be good to go. " Took 7 seconds LOL. Mike

Go to this link which brings up PDF from BMW, this is just a snap shot of the hold PDF. It shows the screen shots from the car that you are looking for.
