I just put two brand new P zero rear tires due to nail in rear right original tire. It was raining the first day and next day on 3 to 4 weeks trip to Taiwan. Was hoping to see how new tires would do for map 7 but need to wait until return back to Bay. Area. I took out RC before going to dealer as I also arranged first 7500 mile maintance. They told me my car is in great shape and handed me key with smile. With that gesture, I assume RC tune is not detected or they didn’t run deep scan in regular maintance. I have run RC for more than 1000 miles. I was very happy to hear from dealer that car is in great shape! |

I did measure my privious 18 E63S wagon. It was in stock form and best 0-60 time was 3.12 (should be around 2.92 with roll). I feel F90 is slightly faster judging from sensation. So, I am looking forward to try it before putting back RC to compare RC map 6’s time of 2.60. |

NHRA dragstrips have a 12-14” “rollout” before the timers start. Basically light beams in front of the tires so you can roll up and prestage, then stage the car to keep it even with the car beside you plus theoretically Launch at the same time if reaction times are equal. So the last beam is 12-14 inches out and when the tire breaks that beam the clocks start. So you get a 12-14” running start.
Magazines now incorporate that method in their testing. Vbox has it and Dragy has it built in also to keep everything standardized. |

After the DME Tune, downpipes and Exhaust after only my first try significantly improved my 0-60. I'm sure I can do better with more pulls.

Try a launch control. See what happens. Make sure the road your testing on doesn't have loose gravel. Try 4-5 runs. You should be able to get low 3's every launch isn't perfect takes time and multiple passes to get good numbers.
