When my car has been sat without use for over a day or so, the dashboard message below appears when I enter the car, pre-start.

Start Engine

Energy Management

No problem starting first time and no record of the message appears anywhere thereafter.

Is this simply the car 'sleeping' and conserving energy, or do I have a battery issue?

Car is under two months old.

I think a dealer visit is in order my friend.

I can leave the car sat for 10 days and not see anything like that.

I have a dash cam installed, but set to turn off at max setting 12.8v, but still the likely culprit.

i may turn off the parking mode and see if the problem still exists before popping to the dealer.

Yeah, that sounds like good plan for troubleshooting. Going back to the dealer really sucks. Give a shoutout as to the outcome. I often don’t drive mine for 5 days or so.
