Comparing the Bvlgari Octo to an Hermès watch shows a lack of understanding about the watch. The Octo was Designed by Gerald Genta the person that designed the AP Royal Oak, The PP Nautilus and the IWC Ingenieur among many other iconic watches. It is among the thinnest automatic watches in the world and has an extremely complicated in house designed movement. The Octo has won dozens of design and innovation awards.

If I was building a collection it would not be one of the first 5 watches I would buy but it is a great and unique piece for an avid collector to add to his collection. There were 200 of the titanium version made and all of them were sold before they were produced

My comment on your post was meant as a compliment, it takes conviction to buy jewelry brand watches (or fashion brand like Hermes). I don't know how you arrived as there is a lack of understanding about the watch.

I know who designed Octo, and it's relations with AP Royal Oak, Patek Nautilus, and etc. But at the same token a Kia designed by Pininfarina doesn't make it a Ferrari.

As for my Hermes watch, it's a 90,000 CHF enamel watch, dial made by the same specialists who made RM devil eye and for other prestigious brand's enamel watches. Only 12 pieces and all gone, while your Octo can still be found on Chrono24. So can I say you know nothing about Hermes watch?
