That i'm aware of, thought he meant brake pedal sensitivity was increased.

I just happened to start testing the Sport+ Mode today and I’m not seeing any real difference between the normal Sport mode; from a driver’s perspective. I “think” that I’m hearing more exhaust effects (but not sure as the cabin is well insulated + some music [Live Triumph - from the 80’s]).

The throttle response seemed exactly the same as Sport and the downshifting from 3-2 was nominal.

While I understand D1-D2-D3 will upshift later on the rev band and hold more into higher revs, not sure I understand S1-S2-S3, as it's manual shift so it holds the rev I want.
So what would be the change for S1 vs S3?

Yepper! I remember seeing that concert on TV back in ‘83. Triumph is my favorite and has been since the late 70’s

I saw em at Joe Louis arena in 88/89 I think? I know what I’m listening to tonight lol.

edit: my memory is going! I looked it up all nostalgic-like and it was actually in 1986 at Cobo Hall....

Saw them at Reunion Arena in Dallas, on the Never Surrender tour IIRC. Either that or Allied Forces. My memory fades.

Was a huge fan. Still am.

Count me in ... big fan of Triumph. Saw them live several times.

Allied Forces is an insane album ... I always left concerts blown away by how loud and powerful a three man band could be.

Glad to hear someone else has this issue. Stopping this car smoothly, even in comfort, is an art.

I saw them back in 1985 in Lakeland, FL - kick-ass concert. I was in the USAF back then stationed on the east coast (Patrick AFB - next to Cocoa Beach). I’ve got everyone of their albums (CD’s — guess they don’t make albums anymore ;-)) and have listened to all of the hundreds of times over the years. I’m classical/rock guitarist and my man Rik Emmett was very influential in my self-taught styles.

Sorry, again, OP for this hijack - we all seem to be reminiscing our love of a great band!

Now, back to the discussion at hand.

I completed my informal testing of the Sport/Sport+ Modes and determined that it’s really hard to tell the difference - other than it does seem to make the exhaust extra burbly. So, I reset my M1 back to Sport (as I had originally set) will leave it there, for now...

So what would be the change for S1 vs S3?
S3 seems to shift quicker up/down (crisper is how I would term it) with the paddles in comparison to S1. I don’t think it’s placebo... not a DCT for sure but I feel it changes ratios in a shorter time frame in S3
