Wait a tad longer for the revs to settle, from my experience you can wait almost 3 seconds, FYI.
Thing is with launch control the car always needs to meet the parameters to do it. example everything hot and ready and driven around for approx. 10 Miles at least according to the manual. |

First attempt appears to be in D3 and 2nd S3, did you shift yourself in S3? From what I thought I read in manual, the car needs to be in Sequential, in order to properly launch. Maybe that's why first failed, cause was in D??
With my '16 F10 550i Msport, all would have to be in sport plus D, then simply mash the pedal, then throttle and let loose! Different animal though..
