another straightpipe thread

I decided to hold off on purchasing the M performance exhaust due to it not having valves, so i pulled the trigger on a remus midpipe (just a regular straightpipe center)

before i install this and regret it due to drone, does anyone have any clips of their straightpiped resonator with the valves closed/open

Awesome, maybe post a sound video if you get a chance. Just to clarify, the midpipe just replaces everything from CATs to the muffler correct? or are you CATless?

Confused. Did you only replace the mid pipe or are you straight piped? Two very different things.

Sorry to hijack this thread a bit, does anyone know how to get rid of the rasp at part throttle between 1700-2000 rpms that came with removing the cats? I was thinking maybe doing something with the mid pipes but I know nothing about exhaust.

I have catless downpipes, Remus midpipes (so no resonators), and the back box is gutted out so nothing inside it. essentially a straight pipe

I have a little bit of rasp as well. I am OK with it. But there is also a slight vibration or rattle from the rear of the car that I hear at low rpm when I start accelerating hard. I think it is related to the exhaust valves but am not certain. I put the car on the lift and checked pretty carefully for clearance issues and did not find any. I would think the valves are open at that point but maybe open valves can rattle.
