RAM resolution time

My cs has been at Baltimore port since 10-2. Waiting on ram module. And then after that they are installing the carbon bits they won't do it prior for some reason. Anyone been waiting this long?

I've been there since 10/22 for the RAM module. Priority 1.

Also at the Baltimore port - work order started 10/21. Still waiting for it to finish... sounds like I should be next, fingers crossed!

My CA called me earlier to let me know my car has arrived at the port of Galveston. He said they need to install the module and it’ll be released to the carrier. We’ll see how long this actually takes!

My car just arrived yesterday in Baltimore. It needs to have the RAM retrofit resolved as well as some port-installed options.

We'll see how long this takes but my guess is it will not be quick.

Mine took 49 days.. Hopefully your's will move faster.

Oof I hope my second car doesn't have that problem... first one was 12-13 days if I remember correctly...

I'm at the Baltimore port as well. Been a pretty pleasant process so far after tracking the build and then tracking the boat...seems this may be the longest portion of the process. Hoping for less than 30 days

Good to see everyone getting some progress. I'm not sure if I updated the thread, my RAM resolution was right at 16 days, Port of Charleston according to the tool we've all been using. The car then sat for another 14 days, I'm assuming for my MPE. Until last night, the status of the car was sitting at port, it's now moved to at the dealership. I also got the terms email from the myBMW app, logged in and I've got full access to the car from the app.

I'm scheduled to fly up to Greenville next Monday night and am doing the performance center delivery on 12/21. So that'll be six months and six days from the time I placed the order (and I was given the build number on the day I placed the order). I had one delay in build start, and then the delay associated with the MPE (but my CA had told me to expect that).

It's gonna be a very Marina Bay Blue Christmas in our household!

Any guesses on how long a non-priority 1 car already at the port would take if marked sold today? Trying to figure out how long I can wait. Where can I enter the VIN to see the needed repair, progress, parts available?

there's no way for anyone here to guess how long it will take, as others here that were on the same vessel as me, got to the same port as me, and had the same stop sale as me, are already driving their cars and mine is still at the port. You can call BMW Genius and get somewhat of an idea but that can also be wrong, i.e my car was scheduled to be at the dealership yesterday....but it's still at the port.

Per BMW Genius, "we do not have access to potential stop sales or delays affecting vehicles currently in production." Updates such as this need to come from your dealer/CA.

My car just arrived at the VPC in NJ, and they are out of Harmon Kardon modules. I'm hoping they get some in sooner than later.

I ordered my car in late July, but I did not get an allocation until 9/15. The order was submitted and approved on 9/29, and the car went into production in late October/early November and was completed. It shipped from Bremerhaven on 11/29 and got to port on 12/16.
