KW HAS or BMW OEM Performance Suspension Kit Question
I'm expecting the delivery of my 2023 M5 by the end of the year. I would really like to get a HAS kit installed to close that dreaded gap, but I'm concerned about BMW warranty issues. I know that many of this forum recommend the KW HAS kit, but for a brand new vehicle, wouldn't I be better if I have the BMW dealer install the BMW OEM Performance suspension kit right before I pick up the vehicle? That way it is all covered under my original warranty. I know that it is more expensive that way, but I was wondering if anyone else with the KW HAS aftermarket kit has had any warranty related issues with BMW. I'm not as concerned about the price difference as I am with having to deal with possible warranty concerns. Thanks!

KW goes slightly lower, but not by much. Like a hair of a difference. I have the M-Perf Has and love it. I'm on custom built 21inch BBS LM-R and the drop is perfect in my opinion. I have full M-Perf carbon including the lip, I wouldn't want to go any lower. I already have to be super careful as is.

I've had both KW HAS and H&R and have never had an issue or a warranty claim. Does not mean it can't happen but I've been lowered on my last 4 M5's with zero issues.
