And really I don't get the point of a light weight M5 that still weighs over 1. 8 ton. Hardly a track toy is it. Going to be harder on the road than an M5 Comp.

I reckon if getting a 5er a M550i is the go. Save the coin and then buy a caterham for the track or alike lol
This is where my brain goes. I want a Lotus on the track, not a 1.8 ton AWD 4dr family sedan. Something that will get more than 10 laps out of its front tyres!
ditto

Because there is no Sport Auto time for a 992 carrera 4s, if you want to look at the RWD M4 it tied thecarrera S with 7:30 as well

Not sure what that’s supposed to mean? Anyone buying any car is looking for value, unless they’re getting the maximum trim. According to your profile, unless your 911 is a turbo S/GT2RS, you are also a value shopper since you didn’t get those, the cayenne turbo S or x3m.

Going through the Porsche option list itself is insane, give it a try 😂

I wasn't looking for value because I wasn't cross shopping another brand. if I was looking for value between BMW and porsche then I'd get a BMW. it's not about getting the maximum trim. hope that makes sense.

for the record my 911 is a 4s and my cayenne is a turbo coupe.

While I have enjoyed my 18 M5 since August of 2018 I am anxiously awaiting my 2023 911 GTS.

Think you can sell him a warranty since you’re also an Audi finance guy, Ben?
