if there's any kind of inspection the dealer has to do or whatever, they can do that. I'm not so much concerned about the foam but as much of the plastic I can keep on the front of it the better

The car is washed at the port when they put it through that 300 degree wash to burn off the cosmoline

dropped off for tint and xpel. kits aren't out yet tho so they have to call them to see ETA.

looks like all but the front and rear bumpers are the same.

perils of a brand new model I guess!

Are you still getting the pops and bangs? I'm so scared with the new opf filters in Europe that bmw may have snuck in some quieter exhausts for the lci.

Also, my xpel installer is custom fitting the xpel instead Of waiting for kits. That might be an option. May actually be a better quality fit.

yes they are there in sport+. i was just sitting still goosing the throttle a bit so no crazy downshifting, but they are there!

My shop can do custom but its way more $$$ and fitment is better with a kit apparently. they are reaching out to xpel to see if they have any ETA on the kit for the '21. most is the same as the 20 short of front and rear bumper. hopefully its sooner than later

yes, xpel ultimate all around + ceramic pro and tint.

they will do tint tomorrow and then see what they can come up with for the wrap

from best i can tell, the front and rear bumper has changed so i hope they can us the 2020 kit for hood, roof, doors, and everything else EXCEPT the front and rear. if they can use track wrap or something else to just get me by until the kit is out ill go that route too. i just hate to roll around naked with the paint not protected

I agree, the shipping company is actually dropping me and my friends cars off at the installer. As much as i want to take it for a spin, im going to hold off a few days so i dont ding it up.
