Ultra 94, the one from Petro Canada? No fuel additives or octane boosters? I haven’t tried anything other than 91 yet and I just added a Race Chip black edition and my car still feels slow... 😅😅😅 maybe I am spoiled by all the jets I fly but I really would like to meet you some day so I have something to compare my M5 with...

You will struggle to compare to jets - unless highly modified lol. 91 octane is not helping you...I don't know what the race chip black edition is? The F90 M5 Comp is really consistent - 11.0 is a poor, but average run - and with some prep, good DA and a tail wind - 10.8x on Michelins - which is solid for a 4300+ lb car. I don't go as often to the track as I used to when younger - but I will be back again I am sure before the end of the summer...Cheers!

MPH from anything I have ever had.

I am happy with the run either way...

Cheers!
congrats on the fast pass!! thought id share my experience with my 2018 non comp M5.

we do not have a close by 1/4 mile track so unfortunately i go to a local 1/8th mile track here in LA, so far best time is when car was bone stock
only got 2 runs

first and best
60ft 1.638
330 4.612
1/8th 7.043
mph 102.83

second pass
60ft 1.653
330 4.624
1/8th 7.077
mph 100.53

This was achieved with LC with comfort for suspension
P zero tires
and 1 gallon of e85 to 5 gallons of 91 oct (weak CA gas)

here is the upsetting news, when i went back with jb4 installed i did worse, tried both map 1 and map 2 however straight 91 oct

map 1
60ft 1.836
330 4.892
1/8th 7.352
mph 101.92

map 2
60ft 1.758
330 4.757
1/8th 7.192
mph 101.69

60 ft specifically was worse, i gotta go back to see if i can beat my stock times

Same fuel mix? Same prep? The only thing I can guess here is that you went back to the track on a much worse DA/temps day?

Your 1/8th MPH was actually quite strong stock - as well as your 1/8th ET. 7 flat is quite good for the standard F90 M5.

This was my best time the other day. Was also the first time I have taken this car out for a drag.

I'm in a non-comp M5. Pirelli's. Don't ask me about atmospheric pressure or elevation or anything else like that ....

Has anyone broken into 10 seconds on a non-comp at the 1/4?

That is a good question...I don't know - I do not think I have seen a standard car - bone stock - run a 10. I am sorry to say - at least for drags - the Pirelli's are garbage. The Michelins are so much better. They were worth about half a tenth to almost a full tenth with my car.

I got stuck with Yokohama’s. This isn’t the first either. I have a sneaky suspicion that my dealer takes the tires from the factor (assuming P’s or M’s) and swaps them out for the Yokohama tires.

There's a tire thread somewhere and other people are talking about getting Yokahama tires on their M5s - so I'd suspect it's just that a small percentage just come that way from BMW.
