Hi there, very intersted in the wheels in the red M5 you showed. What are those? Is it possible to put larger rubber tires on there vs. the very thin profile ones in the pic? Planning to add to my M5 Comp that is stock ride height.

But those are BBS FIR in 21" and no you can't put larger tires. They will rub like a mofo. You could try and source the FIRs in 20" and that'll give you more rubber.

When we had our F90 we test fitted numerous wheels with different fitments and also 3D scanned the wheel wells. When we entered the data into our system, it told us that 20"x10" wide front wheels was the widest you can go & still have a flush fitment. I don't doubt that 20"x10.5" could be done however it'll more than likely require other mods like suspension changes, camber, rolling fenders, etc.

In our opinion, best fitment for this car is 10" wide front and 11" wide rear. Can be done with 20" or 21". We recommend 21 for best all-around setup or 20" if you're going to track/autocross the car.
