I'm really getting on my guys case now and he said he's reaching out to the VPC today.
13 days after it got to port.... and I thought that was long lol.... my friends m3 cleared in 7 days. But I never clarified if that was after work order opened or after fitting to port.

My boat docked Nov 2, stop sale was done Nov 16 at like 8 am, Nov 18 they damaged my car and I am waiting for round 2 as we speak (week 4 prod date)
Did everyone here have b&w or is the stop sale is for every car?
It's for cars across the board. Mine is stop sale for RAM and it's HK. I think it sounds like the B&W wait is likely to be longer though.
Thanks for letting me know, around how long does the b&w add to the wait, I currently have an order for hk but I really would want to add the b&w, and I'm seeing people are talking about the start of 2022 the parts for the b&w will be available anyone has more info on that? Thanks

The reason I asked for more details is because I checked the VINs of a few Demo and new 2021 M5Cs here in AUS. They all have the same defect code coming up, including my car. Some are on the road already (Demos) and the defect status is not fixed. I wasn't sure how every single dealer across all states would not pay attention to this?

By front radar module, with my limited knowledge I am guessing, it's the radar / adaptive cruise control sensor programming. I would say that is something important prior to selling them to customers / getting them on the road which has not been done. So wanted to double check if my understanding of the defect code is 100% correct.

That's what it would seem like. Maybe they don't care about the demo cars? Or maybe it's just a software update that doesn't affect anything since it's not a recall. It might be a TSB or sorts but not enough to make it a stop sale or a recall.

I ended up pulling the trigger on a similar spec new m5comp car on an out of market dealer lot New Year's Eve. They were ready to make a deal and we got it done. The car I originally ordered is still stuck at port and with lots of travel coming up, I simply needed a car. If anyone is interested send me a PM and I can link you up with the car I bailed on. I assume they'll try and go over MSRP now that I backed out.

I joined the waiting party at the NJ port on 12/31... I have both the RAM and Amp (Retrofitting Amplifier) stop-sales. I know RAM is common, but haven't been able to get much info from Genius or my CA on the Amp issue... Anyone else had/have this one?

Also-
Noticed a few others in this thread arrived at the same port a little before I did... Have any of you taken delivery yet? Thx!

good luck lol! I'm pretty sure I'm one of the people that's been waiting the longest along with two others that i've seen waiting a week more than me. My car has been sitting at the port since 12/04....

At the port since 12/10. No updates available yet. Last word from the dealer was "hopefully by the end of Jan. but not guaranteed!"

Have those recalls been active since they left Germany or did the recall not pop up until after they had arrived stateside?

Thx for the replies, hope you both see your cars soon... Hearing that you're still waiting gives me some [disheartening] insight regarding my situation. I see from an earlier post that scottie46 has B&W... How about you, Namelss ?

avljled My recalls were active before it left Germany... I was aware of both for most of the 2.5 weeks it sat at port waiting for a vessel.

Yep, B&W was never removed from my build so my car has it. I must have been one of the last ones (by my guesstimate!)

I'm told the RAM for my car should be coming to the port this week. Wasn't given an exact date, but I'll keep you guys posted.
