I have less than 5K miles on a 23 M5C and have to get my transfer case replaced because of a slight leak. It's under warranty but still bummed.

Is there anything I should be worried about or is this fairly easy to do?

I would say, worry about the coolant expansion tank or after your warranty is gone (like mine is). Other than that if you are not tuned (something all mighty BMW use as an excuse to deny any claims), I’ll say let it break anything and everything and have the dealer pick up the tab.
I know it sucks anyways but lets hope nothing else happens.
