Stage 2 850hp engine hp? Is it safe?
Hey guys
My shop recommended eurocharged tuned and they clain 760whp 850 engine hp. Someone im talking to said over 800 is not safe without building the engins. What do gou guys think have you need people push these numbers safely? Those other manufacturers like racechip when they say 750hp do they mean wheel horsepowr? Because eurocharged ifs 760 whp so then it would reassure me more. Thanks |

Actually pretty safe, lots of ppl using the eurocharged tune and no issues, its about 738 awhp not 760. they calculate 850hp engine with 18% loss but it might be around 800 with 12% loss. either way thats the number 738

A 10.0 quater mile F90 M5 safe? Not by a long shot. Like someone said, dont misslead people and end this thread. Dyno numbers are worthless as 10 dynos 10 different results but a flat 10.0 second car safe? Lol... |

Been driving my stage2 800hp/1100nm setup for over 20,000 KM with no issues. Probably adding WMI to the mix just to make it more safe.
And I use the car rather heavily, pulling 6+ more 100-200 runs one after the other, drifting, burnouting etc. |

I'm driving my "not safe" stage2 tune since 3 years and have no issues with engine at all. Car gets frequently serviced every 6-7k kms to make sure everything is on point tho.

Akrapovic full exhaust, Keller catless downpipes, eventuri intakes, CSF chargecooler, step colder sparkplugs.
For remaps - past 3 years I've been driving on HCP,BM3 and Evolve and using only 100 octanes fuel. With and without the transmission tunes. All of these are good |

As for 850HP, I don't see that listed on their site for stage 2. Their stage 2 shows 713/653 crank which seems low compared to what I've seen from others. Example: DME 2 is 740/720. https://www.eurocharged.com/product/bmw-m5-ecu-tune-2/
