None of the BMW accounts (BMW, BMW USA, BMW M) are as active with posting on twitter as they are on IG.

I also just made my weekly call still nothing with no fix in site. The agent said "they will fix it when the parts come in", and I said ,"don't you mean when the software program fix is figured out by the engineers?" At that point he paused and said yes, "he's heard it might be software related".

With the above being acknowledged, it's almost crystal clear than there is ZERO communication between the engineering division and NA corporate. At least I have almost week before my car hits the VPC. Hopefully this won't be longer than another week or 2 at most. Again, it's mostly the lack of communication, conflicting information and bad PR from this brand and at this price point that is the most disturbing.

My old Vehicle F150 has been traded into the dealership I bought my M8 GC Comp from, papers were signed and the F150 has been sold(I brought the buyer for it) so I am sitting without a vehicle, waiting for this stop sale and hoping it's done by next week.

Dealership told me software fix but I almost don't believe them as it seems like they are always kept out of the loop on things.

I'm not sure what I do if the M8 can't be delivered next week, or doesn't have a timeline. I will definitely need to ask for a loaner car of the same caliber.

Here's to hoping its done next week

Yea if folks bombard their social media pages maybe they will act quicker. Brands tend to feel the heat more because news spreads quicker on social media

Have them give you a loaner while you wait to pick up your new car. This should be a no-contest courtesy from BMW.
