SO got an offer today from my local dealer.
$128,875 MSRP (executive, Competition, Driving assist plus, B&W, and MPE) $119,875 Selling Price (7% off) (they snuck in some $759 fees that will be removed) 6.25% Texas taxes levied against the selling price of the car $2500 drive out; $1799/month; 12k/36month lease Should I be pushing for more? This is a built car that is being exchanged from another dealer (maybe I should look for it on the different dealer lot) What do you think? |

Seems high? Always negotiate the money factor. Plus you could do the 7 MSDs to further reduce payment. Never put money down, ever.

1800 a month is what people were paying when the f90 first came out. This deal is trash. Go elsewhere. You shouldn't have to negotiate the MF, it should be BASE if your credit allows. |

By the way, while purchasing another car, I found a good way to quickly contact dealers. Using CarGurus search: https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/new/se...earch=76832151 Then, for each car that looks good, click "+ Add comment" in the Get a Quote section. Write "What is the best price for this car?" When they start sending email with questions, just respond with, "What is the best price for this car?". |

Hi, I’m new to this forum (longtime stalker) and still pining over an F90. Fell in love after test driving it recently, but struggling to get anything even close to a good deal.
Anyone have more luck here negotiating off MSRP? I’ve contacted a number of dealers spread across the PNW, CA, AZ, TX, but the most I’ve gotten is about 5% off. Most dealers won’t give me much more than a couple grand off. I’m going to keep pushing but maybe this is just bad timing? It’s not that I can’t afford it, but I think I’d beat myself up if I didn’t at least get a reasonable deal. Also, I’ve looked into brokers but as I’m located in WA state, I haven’t found a viable path. Unlike a lot of other folks, I’m new to BMW so I don’t quality for the loyalty or other awesome rebates/incentives. |

I know brokers have dealers who will ship pretty much anywhere depending on location and feasibility of course, so I would say to keep researching brokers and find one who could ship to WA. I would recommend Dan Next Level Auto Brokers but he's out of the east coast and I don't know if shipping cross country would be beneficial versus finding a broker who works with dealers closer to you. Good luck! |

Are you planning to order the car or buy something off the lot? Try Jon Schafer. He is a broker out of California. When I was shopping a local dealer offered me 5% and another offered me 4% off. I asked another dealer 2 hours away for 10% and they offered 8%.

I’m open to both, so I’ve contacted dealers that have several M5s sitting on the lot in order to get a favorable initial offer. Can you PM me Jon’s info? |

My dealer told me the base MF went up for April. Luckily they honored my previous quote.

I just picked up a '21 M5 at the Performance Center I ordered through a Broker at 9% off and base MF, so I'm sure if you look around enough, you can find one.

Most dealers mark up the MF to offset any "discount" they give you, so it's always prudent to ask what they are quoting (at least I do). If it's not base, ask for it, but be prepared for a gamut of answer on why it's marked up. Remember, dealers want to make money on any deal. Also, asking for/getting base MF assumes you have tier 1 credit. But to ensure you will always get base MF without the hassle, just go with a broker. Saves time, less stress, and you'll get a great deal. Hope it helps. Good luck! |
