Lumbar issues?
Just curious. So the lumbar in my X5 is so different than on my M5. Mostly in that I can actually feel the lumbar change in my X but I mostly don't even think the M5 has an adjustable lumbar. Is it it just me or is that all the M5 has?

M5 has an adjustable lumbar( round button) and you can definitely feel it change with the buttons.

Multifunction seats are standard on US M5s, didn't know that standard seats in an M5 existed.

Yes sorry I think y'all are missing the point. I'm comparing the lumbar adjustment to my X5 in saying I barely feel anything move in the M compared to my X. So if y'all say it's definitely noticeable and makes decent adjustment then I'll have to ask my dealer to take a look at it when I take it in next for an oil change.
Maybe I'll try my passenger seat actually and see if it's any different than the driver. Ever sat in the passenger before haha.

Sounds like something is off. I definitely feel my lumbar support.
@ddd31 in the EU (Sweden at least) the 4MA is an option 🙈 not sure who in their right mind would skip it though... |

I definitely feel its less than in my benz. I did however learn something that helped me feel it better. I am a bigger guy so I had the side bolsters all the way loose for normal driving however when I tightened them up a little it allowed my low back to sink into the seat better and I felt much more support while staying comfortable and not cramped in the seat.

Jeeze, I thought this was going to be another posting of lumbar herniated discs pictures like on the Rennlist Forum. LOL.
Mine work great. Lumbar adjustability has a large range of movement. And Massage seats to boot! LOL Mike
