Skyscraper is a standard color on g83 it's $550 charge. I'm assuming the M5s will follow.

I haven't received an amended PO so I'm not sure on cost, but as I read it the emblems are coming standard on all full M models and optional on M-Performance models ordered after this week. Can't imagine it would be more than a couple hundred bucks though

I submitted my spec back in October and when I saw the announcement sent the article to my dealer asking if it was something I could do. He said he asked BMW last week but actually hadn't confirmed to me directly yet, I just saw it on my options list this morning

It's not. There will be a special edition G8X, details have yet to be announced.

I don't think there is a part number per say. You need an actual car's chassis or VIN number to order as replacements. That car must have been spec'd with this emblem. That's what my dealer said.
