Basically map1 is like a stage1 tune and you can run it on 91octane and no DP's. Map2 needs a little better octane and you can run with stock DP's as long as you aren't tracking it and driving it hard non stop in which it would overheat your cats and cause issues of them melting or breaking apart (neither is good) Anything after those two maps I wouldn't touch with stock DP's but I'm not exactly sure what Burger Motosports take is on it. Straight E85 is not going to work on any tune or piggy. A lot of guys are running E30-E40 but mostly on a tune where you can adjust things to adapt for the fuel. With JB4 it's a bit more tricky and most guys haven't had a lot of success running E30 on a stock tune with JB4 unless you add meth as well. Hope that helps and GL!

All BMS maps are compatible with the factory cats/exhaust. It's mostly about octane levels. BMS actually suggests keeping the factory downpipes due to minimal gains but lots of odor if removed.

I haven't seen a tuning company out there that doesn't require downpipes for a stage 2 tune. In this platform stage 1 seems to range from 20-22 lbs which is similar to Map1 on JB4. Map2 jumps up to 24/25lbs at least for me when it's acting as an additive map at +5lbs. The end result is about the same as a stage 2 with most tuning companies being 24-25lbs. Using stock downpipes and running this kind of boost is probably fine for a year or so around town. But, for consistent hard driving similar to a track is not a good idea and can cause the cats to melt or break apart over time. Neither of which has a good result. I know a few guys that ran up to 5.5lbs on map6 for months on their cars limeypride being one of them who did it on two F90s now and he never had any problems. But, he also didn't keep either car for more than a year.

I dont think it's that bad, but yes it does smell. My wife cant stand the smell. My last 3 cars had no cats. So for this one I promised her I would keep them.

To be fair, I've never heard of anyone melting/destroying their cats by running JB4 map 2.
I see it advised to run 93 octane but no where do I see it suggested they DPs are needed to safely run map 2. I mention this for feedback as I'm about to pull the trigger on a JB4, intend to run map 2, and have no interest in DPs.
