A Little More Black
Not a massive 'modder', but made a couple of changes to an already well specced car since picking up last month, namely M Performance gloss black kidney grills and side vents.
Today I fitted an OEM black rear badge, which is standard fit on the Competition. The badge comes in three parts, so just omitted to fit the word Competition. Also had a light smoke tint on the rear lights, which has come out really well. They both are a little less 'black' in real life and do contrast well with the Singapore Grey paintwork. I'm undecided about the honeycomb reflector inserts, I initially thought I would go for, so will have a think. Last week, I was ordering carbon boot spoiler, rear diffuser and front splitters, but like I said, I've never been into mods, preferring a standard car, so held back, but certainly the chrome needed to go. Anyway, appreciate this is a quiet corner of the forum, so thought I'd post... |

It's a film, like a window tint. You can choose wet or dry application. Basically, dry is a sticky film, wet is a different type of film mainly used on windows. Dry peels off easily, wet is harder to remove, but often offers a better end result.
I've used the guy who did mine for years and he thought he could get as good a finish dry, which he did and if I don't like it, I can whip it off. Cost varies, but sub £100. |
