Can you please send me the details for these pads? My M5 squeaks terribly and I'm embarrassed every time I roll up to a stop sign and people are there.

Steve,

Just tried doing this for you but there was not enough dust to even make the finger pass noticeable. I had the car washed Friday afternoon but there is zero dust.

yes hard to see with the sun reflection....no matter what pads there will always be some dust...depends on color and the amount.......I guess run test after 50 miles but you probably wont hit that if its not a daily driver

Car's a daily driver. The sun is not the issue in the picture it is the fact there's no dust.

This pic was taken after driving another 40 miles or so after the original pics ... very faint layer of dust.

What's up, guys! I was wondering if anyone may be interested in a Track Compound for the F90 M5?

I am. I'm on my second set of front pads and third set of rear pads. Front pads are on back order.

Do you have a proposal?

Hello Girard, I am interested as well. I do 6-8 HPDE days per summer and, so far, I cannot find a track focused brake pad...

On the M4 I was using Pagid RSL29 Yellow and it was just the right compound for my needs.

I'll assume you're using 4WD Sport M DSC OFF for VIR? I wonder how much correction the car still makes with the brakes when you have it more sideways than the system is programmed for? Less than MDM, but it still says "Oversteering possible". With 2WD M DSC OFF it warns us "Unlimited oversteering possible".

I'm thinking perhaps the programming is abusing your rear brakes to keep the car's attitude on the track in line with street parameters. Have you tried 2WD with DSC off? I wouldn't think it'd be faster, but it'd be interesting to see if the rear brake wear would drop.

For those running the pads mentioned in this thread, can you comment about pad wear, rotor wear, and noise along with about how many miles you’ve had these pads? Much appreciated.

I ran dsc in sport plus for my first two sets of pads. I now run it "off" in m-sport now.

It did lots of correction while it was on. Much less with it "off" but I THINK I still feel something in a wet induced slide through hog pen.

But these pads are tiny, and not suited for track without a proper track compound.
