Very Early, in my area I was the first F10 M5, loved that car so much, I'm glad I'll be in my 3rd M5 soon

Oh right I went back through the thread, and since you have family members who own a BMW dealer, you'll definitely get significantly better deals than the rest of us

Nobody is going to get good "deals" on M5's for a few years. These cars sell themselves at full price within minutes.

You can get that if not close to it, but you have to wait until this thing has been out a few months to a year
I had 12% off my 2014 M5 in 2014 and all it took was a phone call.

A 2014 M5 was 3 years into a model refresh. I fully expect a 2021 F90 M5 to also have some discounts. First year of a refreshed model however, discounts are unlikely. Unless the economy crashes...

A few years ? More like a few months , as soon as stock starts to accumulate at the dealerships things will start to change

These deals seem to be a bit better than the F10 M5 when it was released so it looks like waiting for the LCI refresh is the way to go.

In my case Audi bought out the remaining 4 payments on my lease and I'm in a 2018 RS7. More expensive per month but really not off by that much compared to what people are paying for the new M5.

I would think anything below MSRP would be a great deal this early in the game. 6 months to a year down the road...I am sure great deals will abound.
That's what I am hoping as I have another year left on my M3 F80.

I would think the monthly cost of the RS7 would be comparable to, if not cheaper than, the E63S and M5 since the current one is on its second last or last model year and the new RS7 based on the 4G9 A7 (and a rumored Panamera Turbo S-derived powertrain) should launch in a year or so.

sadly no, audi's residuals are pretty bad. I could have gotten it down to $1700ish but I was more interested in getting out of the M5 and into something different.

I think the next gen RS7 won't be out till 2020 considering the A7 will be unveiled at the end of 2018.

My dealer is asking 5k above MSRP for the F90 M5.
He did however offer screaming deals on MY18 M6's!

Call Greg Poland at Pacific BMW in Glendale, CA. He will hook you up with a great deal. No need to pay over msrp, go to someone else.

Greg Poland is one of my contacts and when I ask him, his response was 5k over msrp. I have a good relationship with him and have bought multiple cars from him. Market is too hot right now on these cars but that will soften up towards the end of summer for sure since the new MY will be coming out.

I thought so too!

Given the F90 is out I would presume smoking deals could be had on a M6 given they haven't updated the chassis yet.
