Got home from a a family outing and saw this when I was unloading the kids.
Left rear and right rear. Not sure if vandalism or straight bad luck on the highway. 2 in one day |

The big one is for sure done in my opinion. The smaller one might be small enough that it didn't penetrate all the way through. If it did, it's still not a safe place to patch. Rule of thumb is that you can only patch on the flat part of the tire. Good luck!

If you leave the small one- id suggest making sure you keep a plug kit and compressor in the car. I did the same thing and was fine for 5,000 miles...until I wasnt. Agree its not a great place to plug but it will get you off the road and to a shop.
