Nardo Grey Euro Delivery (pics)

Hello all,

I just got back from our trip to Europe and wanted to share some pics. What an awesome experience that our entire family will never forget. Overall, blown away by the car.

Details - 2019 (base) M5 in Nardo Grey, Aragon leather, black wheels and executive package.

I'll post more details and pics, but wanted to get a thread started. Now the wait begins again...

A few more...

Flew into Munich, had dinner with my cousin and picked up the M5 the following day (Monday). Drove through Austria and spent most of our vacation in Slovenia where my parents are both from.

The building next to the Welt had a M display with the new M8 Competition. From what I was told, same power and weight as the M5 with a $70k price premium. M2 Competition was sharp!

(Not sure why some pics are sideways)

Drop off at the Hilton in Munich... M2 Competition and 550 where already waiting in line. 1,346 miles in 10 days.

Thanks for sharing. The wait for re-delivery is the only reason that I wouldn't do ED again. Did you notice that even with units switched to Km it still showed MPH in the middle of the speedometer?

I did notice the mph in the dash, but never looked at it since my eyes were always on the heads up display.

I had the euro trip pre-planned with other out of state family - since you can't rent anything nice in Slovenia, I wanted something fun. I had more opportunities to open the car up in Slovenia than I did in Austria and Germany.

Since my car is limited (planned that way due to kids being with me AND I would have tried to reach top speed), I topped it out at 263 kmph (indicated) which is realistically 255 kmph I assume.

Didn't realize the M5 didn't have remote start - disappointed in that since it's a popular feature on my other cars. I like to hear our cars start up when I'm out of them (and to cool off the interior in summer).

Because its illegal in Europe to idle your car. I don't recall any German cars that have it, actually.

I'm aware of the laws in the EU, but there are some BMW's that have remote start. X5 to name one
...but that might be manufactured in SC???

Great looking car!
No remote start but you can activate ventilation remotely with the BMW app. I've never tried this myself yet...
